Gibson Les Paul Classic 1995
This is me playing the way I never play. I used a Zoom effect (heaven knows the model) while recording. I normaly use a little reverb/echo and distortion from my amp. I mainly love playing rockabilly, 60′s and 70′s. So why on earth I came up with this piece I don’t know….:) I wrote it myself but never finished the song. I played the bass and drum parts too. Well, I created the drum patterns with the Alesis SR-16. I’m not a good drummer in real life:P This is not the way a Les Paul should sound to me. It could be any guitar with all the effect to it. I thought it would be fun to hear…

The guy paul from GW reviews the Les Paul Classic Custom, they dont set there amps very well at Guitar World they sound too bity alot of the time.

I have a mid 90′s classic as well. Bought it new in 96 and it sounds better the older it gets. Great sustain and that great Gibson growl. It has and always will be my main ax. I have an SG standard, an Explorer and an EDS 1275 but nothing comes close to that chunky feel of a Les Paul. Fender (or anyone else) ever made ANYTHING that comes close. Its definitely a big boys instrument.

@louisalive no, it was an 1988 les paul that he got refinished before the tour. the 59 he uses for recording is a replica..

I sold my les Paul classic for £600 to my mate! Bought it for £1000 too heavy! Prefer my sg or my strat!

paul is good, people just usually don’t give him enough credit because if he isn’t playing a les paul, he sounds shitty.

Yep gibson is really pouring out mid-standard instruments that cost like high standard ones.
But again the classic custom is not bad and definitely more confortable than any les paul custom out there, it’s just not substantial.
