I have been searching for a review of Yamaha FG700S since long time but never happened to find one so I thought of reviewing this guitar… I’m not a bigtime guitar player but just want potential buyers of this guitar to hear the sound of this guitar to make decision.

Good sounding guitar with anti-corrosion strings from the factory. ( I see the tag on the one behind you ) My strings lasted 7 months before the 1st change.
nice video!
This is my favorite acoustic guitar for beginners. It features a solid top, and sounds great. I own one of these instruments and used it to play a duet with my wife at a wedding last weekend. Great full sound, and easy to play.

So is the best guitar recommended for beginners?
I’m not familiar with any model number MS700S. You’re sure it wasn’t an FG? Was it some kind of used or vintage peice? Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

I saw a guitar in a music shop named Yamaha ms700s. I can’t find any information about the guitar on the internet. Maybe i read the name wrong…
Does Yamaha ms700s exist? It sounded vvery good
It’s a high-gloss natural finish. It’s natural wood, so every FG700S is going to have a slightly different wood grain pattern. Feel free to contact me with any other questions.

What finish is that?
Hi,
I can tell you that the FG700S is one of our most popular acoustic guitars. It’s very affordable and has a solid spruce top (almost unheard of at $200). I own one of these guitars and use it at my recording studio. I think it plays well and sounds fantastic. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Thanks for watching. The tunes you heard in this video demo are original pieces by Max Misko. He usually comes up with these songs on the fly as we are getting ready to film the videos. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

awesome guitar, i’m saving up this summer for an acoustic and (hopefull) gibson les paul. Although I was wondering what the songs were that you played.
Hi,
I guess it depends on what you want. For a nice acoustic sound, I would definitely go with the solid-top Yamaha FG700S. If you need an acoustic-electric instrument, then the CD60CE might be the way to go. You’ll just have to decide if you need the pickups or not. You may want to check out Yamaha FGX-series as well. Thanks for watching.

Hello, I’m debating between the Fender cd-60 ce (which you have a video for) and this 700S. I really like how the fender has the pick up and it comes with a case, where the 700 doesn’t. Which would you recommend? (with consider to sound, etc..) It’s tough to pick because they are both good deals for me
Thank you in advance.
i love that guitar
HI,
The FG700S has a high gloss finish. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

the web informations are confusing. has the Yamaha FG 700S a matt/satin fnish or a high gloss finish?
I am wanting to start the guitar. And my friend recommended this guitar to me as my first. I think it sounds great!
Good guitar for the price
Every FG700S I have played has had a nice action right out of the factory. They are easy to play and sound great. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

how the action on it ???
I would say that both the FG700S and the FG730S are excellent instruments. However, the FG730 has slightly improved sound quality because of the back and side wood. Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns.

Just one last question:
So both guitars produce great sound right? I looking for guitars that are under $200 but if it costs $100 more to get better sound, and Yamaha is a great brand too so yeah.
Thanks for quick reply! It good to have review videos like this since people nowadays buy instruments online without knowing its performance.
Hello,
Thanks for your interest in Kraft Music and the Yamaha FG700S/FG730S. The main difference between these two instruments is the wood used in the back and side construction. The FG700S uses a Nato (aka Eastern Mahogany) wood for the back and sides, while the FG730S uses a Rosewood for the back and sides. The FG730 also has some nicer cosmetic features and is available in a variety of colors. Thanks for watching!
