Andres Segovia and Liona Boyd come to mind when the classical guitar is being discussed. This particular guitar genre is the oldest historically, with the same classical model used for over 400 years. As the architectural standard, it was copied many times. The inner supports have been strengthened and now innovative new lattice bracing inside the guitar body helps improve sound projection. Gut or nylon strings are used. The major and minor scales and arpeggios remain the musical turf of the classical guitar. Yamaha and Martin are now known for their superb classical guitars.

Here is Liona Boyd, the first lady of the guitar.
